Installation of a water spray heat recovery unit

With this heat recovery method, the flue gas is passed through a water spray. This lowers its temperature to between 50oC and 100oC, depending on the application. The water spray is heated by the sensible heat of the exhaust gas and also by the latent heat of the water vapour produced during combustion. The latent heat is an important energy component that is not recovered by ordinary economizers.

Installation of a heat recovery air Preheaters

Installing a heat exchanger, that recovers heat from flue gas to preheat the combustion air. Combustion air preheater is bulky because they transfer heat from one gas to another.

Installation of a conventional (non-condensing Economizer):

Adding an "Economizer" is the most conventional method of recovering heat from flue gas after it leaves the boiler. An Economizer is a heat exchanger that recovers heat from flue gas to heat a liquid (water).
